About the Site
This site is fully maintained by me, Paul Curran-Bilbie, as a resource for family photographs and family history research, many of the family history documents and photos have come from other sources and these are all individually credited in the site.
Site Membership
Site membership is free and available to anyone who has an interest in any branch of my family tree, the only thing I ask in return is that you are willing to share some of your research or photos. If you would like access to the site then click to register.
There are two levels of membership, 'Full Member' and 'Family History Member', the only real difference is that full members have full access to the photo database and family history members have access to reduced number of photographs.
There are currently 145 active members but this is rising all the time.
History of the Site
The site originally started in 2005 as a collection of a few hundred family photos held in an Access database. Since then the site has grown. The site is written in ASP and uses an SQL server database.
There are now 29839 photographs available on the site and 1048 of these are available to 'Family History Members'. We have a family tree containing 13523 people and 1363 source documents (census records, birth/death/marriage certificates, family bibles, etc.)
